At the prestigious Design Library of Milan the chairman of CarraraFiere Giorgio Bianchini and the General Director Paris Mazzini will illustrate press representatives with the contents of the 29th edition of the International Fair of Stone Technology and Design- CarraraMarmotec 2008.
This year exhibition -which has become a biennial event- will be presenting a series of new initiatives involving the world of architecture and design in the attempt to link production activities to final user needs and choices.
Such transformation in themes was necessary in order to face the fierce and strong action of competitors.
At the centre of the whole manifestation will be the NATURAL STONE VISION, an area set up for the occasion in pad. E. This will represent the area in which the new Vision of CarraraFiere will take shape through numerous contributions, debates and discussions between the operators and the most famous Architects, Designers and specialised press agents who have all embraced the new vision of CarraraMarmotec: Egidio di Rosa, Kicco Bestetti, Maurizio Ribotti, Giulio Cappellini and many others. This project will give a new imprinting to the exhibition and the focus will be shifted to the? Image? of the natural stone and to its expression/interpretations and the inspirations that this precious source gives to designers and architects.
A significant support to the project of Natural Stone Vision will be undertaken by CarraraMarmotec Scientific Committee whose duty would be to establish the cultural boundaries of the CarraraMarmotec Project to choose every year themes and programs of high professional profile to be organized during the trade fair.
The new project was presented also by a delegation of CarraraMarmotec in Milan, Tortona Zone, during the international and most prestigious event for the world of planning with a reception realised entirely in natural stone- under the supervision of Giulio Capellini.
Finally, this year again a number of foreigner delegation from Central and South America, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Mediterranean Africa will be participating to the manifestation; together with important returns of renowned names in the stone industry.
