The US market in the first half-year 2007 imported stone materials from Italy worth 247 million 223 thousand Euro compared to 272 million 438 thousand in the same period 2006, of which were finished products worth 240 million 812 thousand Euro against 262 million 942 thousand Euro in the first half of 2006 (-8,4 %).

 

Nevertheless, these results fit into positive trends in the field highlighted by an overall increase in exports of non-processed and processed marble and granite in the first half-year 2007 worth 903 million 136 thousand Euro against 878 million 535 thousand Euro in the first six month of 2006 (+2,8%).
