The 59th Marmomac (September 23 – 29, 2025) will have a highlight and an additional hall, the industrial monument Gallerie Mercatali, just a few steps
( Date: 2025/6/4 9:36:06 )
Of course, some people would have struggled with the 13 as the number for the new hall, and in contrast, the 0 (zero) as an alternative even has something mysterious about it: At its 59th edition (September 23 – 29, 2025), Marmomac will be stepping beyond its usual fairground and will be moving into the Gallerie Mercatali as an additional hall. This is an industrial monument, directly opposite the main entrance to the trade fair with the Palaexpo building.
The Gallerie date from 1951 to 1956 and served as a fruit and vegetable market for the city of Verona for 40 years. Their unusual construction with an elongated vault and parabolic roof survived the subsequent vacancy, and so Veronafiere bought the site from the city in 2015, promising to turn it into more than just an extension for its international trade fairs. The construction work was completed in 2020.
Antolini is set to give the two central halls of the Gallerie a new lease of life for Marmomac 2025. The company wants to show an “enveloping, three-dimensional tale of the Antolini® stone world”, as said in the press release: 50 of the most exclusive and rare types of stone are to be displayed there in a special setting.
We add: In addition, Antolini will also be present at its usual location in the outdoor area at the main entrance. This shows the importance the trade fair company gives the Gallerie.
Apart from this new venue, the trade fair will once again occupy Halls 1 to 12 and the outdoor areas this year.
Similar numbers to 2024 are expected, namely 1400 exhibitors from 50 countries and 300,000 visitors from 150 countries
The program includes:
