This follows the successful rollout of Spec-ID’s Flooring Division, which has transformed the way flooring contractors manage product data, submittals, and compliance.

With this expansion, specialty contractors who work in both flooring and tiling can now manage both divisions seamlessly — benefiting from the same speed, accuracy, and automation that have defined Spec-ID’s industry leadership.

From day one, Spec-ID has built its platform on artificial intelligence and machine learning to deliver accurate product data directly into automated submittals, real-time pricing, product labeling, and closeout documentation. Now, tiling contractors will gain access to Spec-ID’s newly enhanced AI-driven search engine, providing lightning-fast product discovery from Spec-ID’s extensive database.

The new “Create New Product” feature allows subscribers to instantly add white-label, custom, and hard-to-find products to their cloud-based libraries—making them immediately accessible to every team member, anywhere.

The launch also integrates Spec-ID’s patent-pending Jobsite QR Code, a game-changer for OSHA compliance. For tiling contractors—who face strict requirements to keep Safety Data Sheets (SDS) available on-site—this feature ensures that SDS documents are instantly accessible via smartphone scan, reducing the risk of fines that can exceed $10,000. Spec-ID also allows subscribers to download and safeguard these records for the required 30 years after the product was last used in the workplace.

These new features drew strong interest at the recent NTCA Five-Star Conference in Nashville, where Spec-ID served as a keynote speaker. Since the event, the company has seen a surge in demo requests from contractors eager to adopt these tools.

With the Tiling Division now live, Spec-ID is accelerating its roadmap. The company will unveil its Ceiling Division this September at the Denver CISCA Conference, followed by the launch of a fourth division in Q4 2025.
